There are two awesome playgrounds one block from our house in each direction. It finally cooled off enough that we could go check 'em out.

The kids had loads of fun.

It took a few mintues, but Thatcher discovered that he could throw the sand. It was of course toasty out, so he was sweaty (unusual for him, I know), and the sand was like a magnet for his head! It took about three days to get all of the sand off his head and out of his ears!
